Birthday Wishes

A lovely pastel coloured card using papers from my stash and my old fav rubber stamp. I have paper pieced the flower and the pot as well as decoupaging the flower head. I added some stickles for a bit of glitz along with a gem in the centre of the flower head.

Hollie Hobbie Birthday card

I made this card last month for a girl who absolutely loves Hollie Hobbie. The papers are from my stash and the flowers were sent to me in a swap. I added a border punched with a Martha Stewart punch and an organza ribbon. The image I found on google.

18th Birthday

Just a quickie post today as I've not been well for the last few days and need to get caught up on the Christmas preparations today.

I have used a fab Pink Petticoat download image for this card and some free papers I found on the net. The gingham ribbon is from my stash . I made the sentiment on the computer. I also added some sparkle to the bodice of the dress with sakura stardust pens.

Christmas Birthday

A Christmas Birthday card using the fab Winter Beau digistamp from Digistamp Boutique  - 20% off Christmas over there at the minute-  and some papers from my stash. I don't know the make of the flowery paper but the other is Bo Bunny. I added some red and black cardstock. The image is coloured using promarkers and I added some stickles glitter glue to her coat for a bit of sparkle.

Butterfly Birthday

A birthday card using this beautiful paper I got from the local craft shop.  I love the colours in it. I have cut out a large nestie circle from the paper and other different sized ones from cardstock. I layered them up and added a couple of butterflies punched from the reverse of the paper. I gliltzed them up with some glitter glue and added some pearls.

Ribbon Christmas tree

Bit late today but had my grandson staying last night and then I had to negotiate the snow to my Parents house to deliver Christmas presents. Hope you aren't snowed in wherever you are and are keeping snug and warm.
My card today is a ribbon Christmas tree. I saw this idea on The Ribbon Girl Blogsite and I think it was Kathy of The Cubbyhole fame who made it. This is my version, I used a cocktail stick and tied various ribbons onto it. I topped with a button and some baker's twine and made a pot from some of the backing paper.

Winter Beau

This is a card for a Teacher who always arrives at school immactulately dressed complete with full makeup, hair done, the works everyday. I have used this fab image from Digistamp boutique  - Winter Beau and coloured her with promarkers. The papers are from Bo Bunny the dotty one is the reverse of the snowflakes. I added some bling with stickles glitter glue to her coat.

Set of cards using Kraft Cardstock

My daughter works in a nursery and asked me to make some cards for her friends there. I used some kraft cardstock, these fab woodware stamps, stamped and embossed in white winter wonderland embossing powder, some red cardstock and this fab baker's twine in red and white. I also added some faux stitching and snowflakes using a sakura white gel pen.

Another Origami Tree

Another origami tree card this time using these glorious papers, Christmas Magic by Nancy Rowe-Janitz. I love the muted colours in this range. I have added lots of sparkle with stickles glitter glue around all the edges of the matting and the tree itself. I also added a gorgeous pale organza ribbon bow.

Sympathy card

A sympathy card using my fav flower stamp stamped in brown ink and some papers from my scrap box. I love the soft sutble colours of these papers - I think they might have been by Melissa Frances. I added some pale turquoise cardstock, pale irganza ribbon and some lovely baker's twine in blue and white. The sentiment was made on the computer.

Quickie Christmas card

Very quick card using one layer of a huge diecut decoupage sheet which was a lot bigger than I thought it was going to be when I ordered it online. Snowflake background paper and the reverse - the dotty paper - are My Mind's Eye. I added some turquoise cardstock and punched out some snowflakes. The sentiment was made on the comnputer.

Happy Christmas Grandson

I have used these fab Echo Park papers - the brown and blue is the reverse of the snowflake paper. I think I like this range of papers as much as my Bo Bunny range. The image was a pack of little decoupaged children in different poses. I thought the colours in this one matched the papers perfectly. I have added some red cardstock and a sentiment made on the computer.

Poinsettia Fairy

A gorgeous card using Bo Bunny papers and a free Poinsettia  fairy download which I had saved and forgot about. I came across it again when I was looking for something else. I have added some glitter to her with stickles glitter glue. I have used some silver mirri card and some black cardstock along with the papers. The sentiment was made on the computer.

Whoops - I'm very late with todays post - a lovey dovey Christmas card. I have used these fab Echo park papers along with some checked BoBunny paper. I punched out some dnowflakes from the papers and tinged them with a red ink pad. I added a Martha stewart punched border and some gingham ribbon. Some of the hearts cut outs  from the border were also used to decorate the card. Finally I added some stickles glitter glue in Icicle for a big of bling and a lovely little Forever Friends Teddy..

Happy Birthday!

A lovely bright birthday card for my sister-in-law's birthday next week. I have used Pink Petticoat image coloured with promarkers, some fab dotty papers ( dont know where I got them) and a free sentiment from a very old magazine. I made the flowers using punches and have added some sparkle with sakura stardust pens.

I have used a download snowman decoupage sheet ( used only one layer), some nestie circles, a lot of punched snowflakes and leaves,a bit of distress ink and copious amounts of Stickles glitter glue. Stickles glue is my fave at the moment and I'm using it on everything! Sentiments made on the computer.

First Christmas as a Mum card

This is a card I was asked to make for a little boy to his Mum on their first Christmas. I used a fab teddy bear and bauble stamp. I paper pieced the bauble and coloured the bear with distress inks. The papers are Bo Bunny and some lovely green bazzil cardstock. I made the sentiments on the computer and added a bow of red and gold raffia type ribbon.

My Hubby's Christmas card.

I have used this fabulous paper from a Christmas pad by My Mind's Eye that was on QVC. I love this paper, I think it has a TimHoltz/vintage  feel about it. I  used two of the papers, the numbers one and a striped one that I overstamped with a flourish and snowflake stamp in red.  I made the sentiment on the computer and layered it on some nestie circles  and I used it along with along with a round sentiment. Both of these were also overstamped in red. All the pieces were matted onto this fabulous green cardstock.
