Birthday card
Just playing around with the last of one of my Minds Eye papers pads, these aren't the most recent free ones but the first pack that was free in the mag some time ago. A bit of ric rac braid, a little button, some inking with distress inks and a stamp from last months Craft Stampers magazine.

50th Birthday Card
I'm using these papers again but they are so lovely I can't resist. I'll have to buy another magazine as I have used nearly all of them now. This time I have made an easel card. I have made a little handbag and decorated it with a punched out flower, some beads for the handle and an adhesive pearl. The sentiment was made on the computer and I used some nesties for the matting and layering.

Well, guess what, I'm using these fabulous papers again - the free ones from Cardmaking and Papercraft mag. I really love them. I have coloured a magnolia image using distress inks and matted and layered on some nestie circles. I have made some flowers using the papers and a flower punch. I finished off with some punched fronds and a few pearls. The sentiments were made on the computer using the font named Brian Cary, I love this font, I think its very modern looking.

Vintage Wallet for Swap
This is a wallet card I have made to swap with my partner this month. The image is a new stamp I have just bought, it's one of a set of 4 all gorgeous. I coloured it with some distress inks and then embossed around the edge with gold embossing powder. I matted and layered onto some black and white papers which I have distressed using Vintage Photo distress inks and cut with a nestie labels set. I also used a mat of red card as the last layer. The flowers are punches and I finished with a few punched fronds, a couple of red gems and a red organza ribbon. The card base was distressed to keep in the vintage style.

Christening cards for my Nieces
These are the christening cards and boxes I made for my two nieces, Anastasia and Tamara who were christened today. They are aged 8 and 9 so I didn't want a babyish image. I have used this gorgeous Confimand Melinda from Whiff of Joy. I have paper pieced her dress, coloured the rest with distress inks and added some rangers stickles glitter glue to her wings. The papers are all from the free My Minds Eye pack in Cardmaking and papercraft Magazine this month. They really are beautiful, worth buying an extra mag just for the papers. I finished with some lace, ribbon , flowers fromWild Orchid crafts and sentiments made on the computer. I am really pleased with how they turned out.
We had a really funny incident at the christening, the rector forgot to put water in the font!

This is a trifold card I have made to hold a cheque for a wedding gift. The cake decoration is a rub on and the papers are from my stash. I made the sentiment on the computer. The lace I picked up in a haberdashery shop and I have threaded a blue ribbon through it. I think it looks a bit like a garter lol
