Love Birds!

I love this image from Digistamp Boutique - I printed it out twice - flipping one of the images - I cut the bird from one image and added it to the other to make a couple - papers are Doodlebug - love the black and white daisy-embossed white cardstock- nestie shapes - some glitter glue - stitched ribbon from my stash - sentiment made on the computer.

Flowers for Bridesmaid Dresses

We needed to add a bit of pink to the bridesmaid dresses as Gillian had wanted pink shoes to go with them and felt we needed a bit of the pink in the dress as well - I made a few fabric flowers - here are my efforts - she chose the pink and blackcurrant one I made using tim Holtz tattered floral die.

These are a much truer colour - they are all this shade of pink believe it or not lol

This fabric was sort of felt like on one side and satin on the other

Rolled roses - two different sizes.

Confetti for the tables - took me 4 hours to punch out this little lot but

it was worth it cause it really added to the table settings

Did them all love heart sort of colours and we had a packet of love hearts in the napkins as a wee token for Valentine's day.

Wedding Card

I had a few wedding cards to make as well - this one uses a cute Fizzy Moon chipboard embellishment -some textured Bazzil cardstock - die cut shapes - punched flowers and leaves - gems  - Stickles Glitter glue - sentiments made on the computer.

Thank You Bridesmaid Card

I made a couple of these cards for Gillian's Bridesmaids and they loved them. The image is from pink Petticoat coloured with promarkers and I added some Stickles glitter glue - I think if making them again I would  use Glamour Dust for added glamour - hearts embossing folder - distress inks to colour the nestie shapes and some adhesive pearls. The sentiments are printed directly onto the card.

The Final Count Down .........

...2 days and counting till my daughter's Valentine's Day Wedding  -I'm getting very nervous and excited at the same time - ohh but it is stressful  - had the most stressful day on Friday but all's well that ends well - dress is here - cakes are here - bridesmaids sorted - my outfits here - only last minute things to do on Monday - fingers crossed all goes well and the weather is kind to us. Woken up this morning with cramps,sick stomach, pounding head and runny nose and the sweat is pouring off me :( - will dose up on Mrs Beechams  lol
Here's the save the date and the invitation I made for her - the invite is cheque book style with pages for the invitation - directions and rsvp details -  I used ivory and bridal white cardstock - daisy punches - punched leaves - stickles glitter glue - pearl gems  and ivory and white ribbon - and some scoring with my scoreboard - She loved them.
