Boxed Mother's Day Card

This was a commission for a boxed Mother's day card. I have used the fab Pink Petticoat Vintage Roses download paper for this project. The flowers are from Wild Orchid crafts, I have added lots of Stickles glitter glue and pearls and used my Martha Stewart punch to make the border and one for the butterfly..

Card making Class - Week 7 - Mother's Day Gifts

This week we made a card suitable for any occasion but made with Mother's Day in mind and a cute little watering can which could hold some delicious sweets as a gift. I used these fab Vintage Roses papers from Pink Petticoat - the colours are so soft and pretty ideal for Mother's Day. The template for the watering can can be found on Splitcoaststampers website under resources.

Here are my samples and a peek at our card class in action.

Another 50th Birthday

A different style of large 8x8 50th birthday card this time  - not as fussy. I have used some gorgeous purple and green paper, scored my white cardstock on my score board, added some gems, a few butterflies which I glittered and some pearls. The sentiments were made on the computer.

A large 8x8 birthday card using fab papers from Fancy Pants. They are glittered  which you can't really tell from the picture. I added some peach and blue cardstock, satin ribbon, flowers made using various punches and some rosebuds and pearls. The sentiment was made on the computer. I also glittered the flowers with Stickles glitter glue.

Cardmaking Class - Week 6 - Baby Cards

Tonight we made a couple of really cute baby cards using either Belly Button Babies digi downloads or a wee bear I stamped out in brown ink. The ladies all made beautiful cards and I think everyone was pleased with their efforts. It's a pity I forgot to take some photos during the class (how silly am I :( ) but nabbed a few before they left and snapped their creations. Pearl had the fab idea of stamping the little bear image on the front of the envelope to match the card - Top of the Class Pearl! lol :)

Here are my samples and some of the ladies with their cards.

Pearl's fab idea -  stamp the envelope to match!
