Little Girls Birthday card
This is a card I have made for a little girl whose birthday treat from her Granny is a trip to see The X Factor Tour in Belfast. She loves Joe the winner of X Factor so I featured him on the front of the card. I googled some images and matted and layered them on some red, black and then holographic mirri board. I added some star gems and some dotty ribbon from my stash. The sentiment and her name are computer generated.

Papertake Challenge Entry + A Spoonful Of Sugar
Here we are with tonights effort - my entry following the papertake challenge sketch. I am entering it into ASpoonful of Sugar challenge as well as it is recycled. The image is stamped onto a piece of newspaper which I had distressed using distress inks and some embossing powder in gold. The papers are all K & Co - dont know the name they were a huge box of papers that I lugged home all the way from America after a holiday last year. The bow is a piece of twine that was on some gifts that I received at Christmas, this along with the newspaper would count as recyling.

Blog Challenges
Wow I'm on a roll today - three postings in one day!!lol
This card I thought I'd enter into challenges - Sketch Saturday and Colour Create challenge which is mint, choc and cream. I stamped over the base card using a brown ink, then used some papermania green and bazzil brown card to matt and layer the tag which was a freebie in some magazine a while back. The ribbon is brown organza from my stash and the pearl gems are from an online ebay shop. I also stamped some of the pale cream amd mint prima flowers with the image I used for the background.

My Mum's Mother's Day card
I have just finished my Mum's Mother's Day card and my craft room looks like a bomb has hit it!! I think it was worth it though, I love the colours I have used. The paper is Bo Bunny, the image from google again jazzed up with some sakura pens and glitter glue. I made up the flowers from pieces in my craft box, and added some punched leaves and fronds. The dotty ribbon was also from my stash, sentiment computer generated.
Hope she likes it

Children's cards
I have made a couple of kids cards tonight for a little boy who will be 4. He loves pirates and Buzz Lightyear. I made a background for the pirates cards from an image I found on google. I distressed it a little around the edges. The pirate is a decoupage I had in my files sorry dont know where I found it. I added the same decoupage image only a little larger to the inside of the card.
Buzz Lightyear I also found on google and this card is just a series of different coloured nestie circles. I added a Martha stewart punched border and a sentiment. The front of the card is half white and half silver mirri board.

Playing around- inspired by Tim Holtz
Morning All
This is a little frame I made last night . I was just playing around with some stamps and had some pieces of nestie circles left over from another project. I had an idea running about in my head for a Mother's day card using the nesties as frames but as usual went completely off course and ended up with this. I used the free stamp in the craft stampers magazine to make the background on the frame, some cosmic shimmer embossing a bit of stitching on the machine some distress inks, punched flowers and leaves and an old photo of me when I was about 7! Here's the result. This is the first time I have ever made anything like this and am quite pleased with it

Not great photos but I will try to take some more later. Off now to paint the study!
