Card Class - Week 2 ...

.. a couple of lovely Christmas cards this week - the first one using Papermania Home from Christmas papers and stamps available from Paperworks at the Linen Green Dungannon

... second card either in white or kraft card using Martha Stewart pine punch - items available at Paperworks

 

 

 

I love this  Kraft one and think I'll have it for my cards this year.

Sneaky Peek - Week 2 ...

Joanna Sheen Challenge Blog Hop ...

...I was delighted to be asked to make a card for the Joanna Sheen  Challenge Blog  - the Blog Hop is running for a week and will feature different ideas from the Design team - but there is a twist! All week the blog will be showcasing other crafters cards who have all kindly agreed to make a creation using exactly the same stamp and papers as the rest of the DT.

I hope you check back throughout the week to see all the different designs to demonstrate the wide variety of different styles and takes that can be made from using the same basic items  - we are all using this cute little House Mouse Stamp from the Autumn Tumble sheet and papers from Summertime Designs  called Falling in Fall - The hop starts on Mon 1st October and will run till 8pm Sunday 7th October. Each DT member will also be giving away a smaller individual prize of Autumnal ribbons and a fab selection of leafy charms. The winner(s) will be announced on Monday 8th October - Each DT member will announce their winners on their blogs and the STAR Prize winner on the main JS challenge blog.

Happy Birthday and some good news....

......good news first - just started in a fab wee job in the Paperworks - The Linen Green Moygashel - so if you are in the vicinity why not call in and say hello.... now onto the card- another one for hubby's birthday - used K&Co paper pad - some brown cardstock - edges all inked with distress inks Brushed Corduroy - sentiment made on the computer - card candy - papermania stamp

Ruby Wedding .....

  

...... 40 years married - isn't that something to celebrate - have used LOTV die cut square and some beautiful red and cream papers The Sweetest Thing from My Mind's Eye and the red stripe is an Echo Park Christmas paper - had to force myself to cut into them they are so lovely - used some Bazzill kraft card too - love the colour of this kraft card goes so well with the papers - gem from stash - punched flower and leaves - glamour dust - sentiment made on computer.

Happy Birthday!

Tt was my hubby's birthday yesterday so I had a few cards to make - last minute cards as usual lol - this one was from my daughter - pretty simple - kraft card - Martha Stewart border punch - sentiment made on computer - Baker's twine - die cut stars which I then embossed - blue and navy cardstock

 

I found the layout on Pinterest a long time ago and saved the pic although I have changed it slightly by adding the twine and embossing the stars.
