T for Tree

My card today is T for tree and I have made a Christmas tree using punched out snowflakes. I made a tree shape out of card and shaped it over some foam pads to make it 3D. I then added the punched snowflakes in white and aqua glueing them over the shape. I added a fab sparkly tinsel bow to the top and some pearls to the centres of the snowflakes. I cut out the trunk shape from some aqua cardstock and gkued to the bottom of the tree. I made the sentiment on the computer. I love how this card turned out.

H is for Holly

Christmas wouldn't be Christmas without a sprig of holly to adorn the tops of pictures! This card is made with the fabulous Bo Bunny papers - I love them. I have also tried a new card fold shape which I just love - very simple to do and very effective - I think so anyway. I thought I'd just concentrate on the beautiful papers and added a couple of sentiments I made on the computer and a bright red organza bow.

D is for Decoupage

A very traditional Christmas card today featuring a decoupaged robin. I used some fab striped paper and the dotty paper is the reverse. The fab colours of a rusty orangy red and green go well with the colours of the decoupage. I bought these last year and have cut off the labelling strip but I think they might have been by Fancy Pants. I also added some glitter to the snow on the branch. The decoupage was bought on ebay. I kept it very simple and added a sentiment made on the computer.

C is for Candle

Todays Christmas card is a made using a lovely candle stamp I bought on ebay. I have paper pieced and decoupaged the candle using some free download papers that I had saved. I glittered the candle "light" but I think i would like to glaze the wax dripping down the side so I will have to get some 3d gloss or the like. I have also inked around the edges of the layering with some vintage photo distress ink. I added some red beads as holly berries to the decoupaged holly leaves. To finish I added this fab green and gold ribbon that I received in a swap, I love it.

I found a tutorial on making this fab bauble on youtube - isn't youtube wonderful you can find everything there lol -. I have used these gorgeous papers from Echo Park's Everybody Loves Christmas range and have glittered everything in sight with stickles glitter glue. I also tried to stitch around the edge of one of the layers but it doesn't show up very well. I added a lovely organza bow to hang the bauble and made the sentiment on the computer.
