This is the birthday card I made for my sister's birthday which was yesterday. I have had this cute little westie dog button for a while and she has a wee dog just like it so I wanted to use it. It is quite small so the card is quite simple -Echo park papers - pink Bazzil cardstock - flowers punched from the paper and a few gems.
Card class again last night and we made two lovely cards - one using fab Lily of the Valley images and the using snowflake embossing folder and Marianne snowflake dies. Here is the first one - an easel card.

I've neglected my blog this week and have a sore right hand so haven't been doing much in the way of making cards but found a few that I haven't added so here is a LOTV wedding card I made for the Cardmaker of the year comp. I coloured the image with distress inks. The papers are Melissa Francis and I distressed all the edges and went to town with the glitter glue. The flowers are from Wild Orchid crafts , gems, ribbon and lace from my stash.
This is my final class for this year with this lovely group of ladies - tonight we made a general Christmas card and a lovely wreath card. I had a bit of a disaster this afternoon when punching the snowflakes cause my Martha Stewart snowflake punch broke and I couldn't get a replacement in time for tonight but luckily I found some snowflakes I had cut for an earlier project and just about had enough. Here are the samples - unfortunately I completely forgot to take some photos of the classs :(.
