K&Co Christmas

Another few cards made before my op - I'm going this afternoon to have my plaster removed and a lighter splint put on and then maybe I'll be able to get my hand moving again - can't wait - am missing my crafting .A couple of quick Christmas cards using K&Co images and this wonderful Cosmo cricket paper. The dotty green is the backside of the floral paper. I added some red and green cardstock and some glitter glue. The sentiments are made on the computer. The holly leaves were cut from another paper and some red gems added for berries.

This one I used a piece of music paper and some red and green striped paper from my stash.

Santa Claus is coming to town...

Another boxed trifold using a fab stamp which I have tried to give the Tim Holtz treatment to lol and some great DCWV papers. The stamp was stamped out using distress inks and then I sponged some ink over it to give a bit of colour. I added some red gems for the holly berries and a pearl on his hat. I then liberally sprinkled with glamour dust and used some stickles glitter glues to add some sparkle.  Sentiments made on the computer.

Christmas Flowers for Mum

I was asked to make 10 boxed trifold cards for an order but unfortunately due to my stay in hosp I only managed to get 3 made. This is one for a special Mum - and aren't all Mum's special - using my spellbinders layered Poinsettia die. I have used more contempory colours for this one - pale pinks and bluey greens - I love the colour of it. The papers and music paper are all Raspberry Road downloads. I used lots of stickles glitter glue and some lovely white pearly beads for the centers of the flowers. Sentiments made on the computer and ribbon from my stash.

Rudolf the Red Nosed Reindeer

Well I'm back in the land of living after having my operation on my hand - had a longer stay in hospital than anitcipated but I'm on the mend now. I have to keep my plaster splint on till the 21st December and then get it swapped for a lighter one so no crafting till after Christmas:(  This is a card I made before going into hospital when I only had a few days to get all my orders sorted - it was manic but I managed to get the majority of them made with only a few disappointed customers.
This is the fab Rudolf stamp again stamped in black ink and then I used an embossing pen to colour his shades and added some black sparkling embossing powder - it worked really well! The holly and berries were glittered and I used this lovely Echo park paper.

Traditional Christmas

I don't think you can get much more traditional than this Christmas card - I used my new Spellbinders layered poinsettia - this is one of the cards we made at my class last week - my daughter had my camera so I couldn't get pics taken until now. I used white linen card, red cardstock for the base card - cut an oval ring with my nesties - a gold embossed border - the sentiment was printed on the card and then cut out - and a few red gems. This was my first sample and on the rest we used gold coloured balls for the centre of the poinsettias.

Sweet and Simple

This is the birthday card I made for my sister's birthday which was yesterday. I have had this cute little westie dog button for a while and she has a wee dog just like it so I wanted to use it. It is quite small so the card is quite simple -Echo park papers - pink Bazzil cardstock - flowers punched from the paper and a few gems.
