Another handbag card

This is also for a teacher and the brief was "make it as blingy as you like". I have used the Citrus papers again and instead of beading the handle I have used lots of different ribbons tied around a wire.I have blinged up the border with some adhesive gems. The clasp is a flower cut from the paper with a pearlised gem in the centre and mounted on a foam pad.

My Daughter's 21st birthday

My youngest daughter is 21 today and this is one of the cards I made for her. I have used a gorguss girl image coloured with distress inks. I cut a circle from a square card using a nestie circle. Then I punched out different leaves, fronds and flowers from the same white linen card. I edged them all with  distress ink, broken china. I then arranged them around the edge of the circle. I added some adhesive pearls and a sentiment made on the computer to finish it off. I saw this idea on the whiff of joy inspiration blog and this is my first attempt at it.

50th Birthday Commission

Hi All
Sorry I have been such a bad blogger over the past few weeks but I have been very busy and also had my little grandson to stay from Friday till Monday. I was so tired after he left that it took a few days to get myself back to normal lol. This is a card for a 50th birthday. I printed the sentiment on the computer and matted and layered it onto some dark brown card. The background paper  is Bo Bunny, the stripe is the reverse. I made a border using a  Martha Stewart punch and added a dark pink organza ribbon. I tied a few little bows at the bottom. The flowers are a mix from Wild Orchid crafts and prima. I punched some fronds from a matching Bo Bunny paper and added some tiny pearls among them.. I added some sparkle with Stickles stardust glitter glue
